This website is owned and operated by me, Mike Chapman.  Since 2002 I have helped countless families and individuals make sense of their COBRA benefits while in job transition and while back on the job. 

This site is a condensed version of the pro bono workshops I conduct around the Dallas Fort Worth area.  I show workshop attendees how they can protect themselves and their family, and how to save money.  I also give advice about how job seekers can get a job faster, give tips for how they can avoid being discriminated against during the hiring process, and how they can negotiate with their hiring employer.

These workshops and this website are my way of paying forward what I do for a living and are not at all a “pitch fest” for my business.  I’ve learned how to help people by giving them straightforward, valuable information on a critical subject that they won’t learn in school or on the job. 

I believe that everyone has an inherent talent or ability to help other people, and everyone has an obligation to do so, but not everyone does so.  This just happens to be my talent, my obligation, and my passion.  Because of the thousands of people whom I have spoken with, my life has been enriched beyond what I had believed possible.
